THE ETHICS TRAINING COURSE IS NOT OPTIONAL FOR REALTOR®
MEMBERS. It is a requirement for membership and must be
taken in every 4-year period. If you took the course prior
to 2009, you MUST now take it again between the years 2009-
2012.
TWO WAYS TO TAKE THE ETHICS TRAINING COURSE
As of January 1, 2009, the two ways to take the course are
online (see below) or attend a training session given by
the Association.
ONLINE: You can take the course online by going to
www.realtor.org, click on Education, and then click on Code
of Ethics Training. You will need to register on the site
if you haven’t done so. You will need your NRDS number to
register. You will choose a username and password.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All New Members must take the Ethics
Course. NO GOOD STANDING LETTERS will be given for any
licensee who has not taken the mandated Ethics Training
Course and they will not be able to access NAR, NJAR or
MCAR websites that require a NRDS number.

9:30am-9:45am Registration and Coffee and Snacks
9:45am-10:00am President’s Introduction
10:00am-12:30pm Ethics Course
Cost is $5.00 per person. NO SHOWS will be charged $15.00.
(Deadline to register is March 16, 2010)*
All those who register but do not show, will be charged
$15.00. The course is 2 1/2 hours.
Attendees must stay for the full 2 1/2 hours to fulfill the
Ethics Training Course requirement.
Attendees will be required to check in and check out.
